This pork stir-fry is quick and easy while still delivering on flavour. Stir-frying is perfect for preparing meals in a hurry.

Cooking time: 45 mins
Serves: 4 people

Ingredients

¼ cup olive oil (65 ml)
750 g pork strips
½ of each red, green and yellow
peppers, all sliced julienne
1 cup shredded cabbage (250 ml)
2 carrots, peeled and sliced julienne
100 g green beans, trimmed and halved
1 red onion, peeled and sliced
1 lemon grass stalk, sliced
¼ cup soya sauce (65 ml)
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (45 ml)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method

  1. In a large heavy based frying pan, heat oil and brown pork.
  2. Add peppers, cabbage, carrots and green beans; stir-fry for 10 minutes.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients, toss to mix, cook for 20 minutes over medium heat.
  4. Make sure veggies remain crisp.
