This kassler ribs recipe is simple and quick but very tasty. Kassler is smoked pork and baking the kassler ribs, gives it that extra flavour.

Ingredients
6 Kassler ribs
4 tbsp brown sugar (60 ml)
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce (65 ml)
¼ cup tomato sauce (65 ml)
¼ cup hot chutney (65 ml)
1 tsp salt (5 ml)
1 tbsp Italian herbs (15 ml)
1 tbsp paprika (15 ml)
4 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
¼ cup sunflower oil (65 ml)
1 cup cola soft drink (250 ml)
Method
- Place ribs in a roasting tin.
- Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl.
- Pour mixture over ribs; allow to marinate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 150°C.
- Bake ribs for 30 minutes.
- Serve sticky ribs with Beans & Pea Relish and a tossed salad.
