Need a simple, vibrant midweek meal that the family will love? Put together this easy pork sausages & mash recipe.

Equipment: Hart 175 mm J7 Pot & Hart HQ Fry Pan

Cooking time: 20 mins
Serves: 4 people

Ingredients

3 tbsp oil (45 ml)
8 pork sausages
1 red onion, cut into thick wedges
2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
1/3 cup chutney (80 ml)
¼ cup fresh coriander leaves,
chopped (65 ml)

Method

  1. In a large frying pan, heat oil, fry sausages for 7 to 8 minutes; keep turning until brown and cooked through.
  2. Add onions, stirring occasionally; cook for 3 minutes until they start to soften.
  3. Stir in garlic, chutney and coriander.
  4. Simmer uncovered for 3 minutes or until sauce thickens and coats sausages.
  5. Serve sausage mixture on top of mashed potatoes and add your favourite green veggie to the dish.
